My name is Cally, I am the owner and sole employee of Sandy Paws Pet Sitting.  I’m 29, I am currently attending Penn Foster Online Specialty School full-time for my license degree for Veterinary Technician or CVT. [In the state of Florida, by law technicians do NOT need to be licensed but many hospitals in the area are beginning to look for such better qualifications to better their hospitals.] I have been in the Veterinary field for 10 years, working my way up from being a kennel technician in a small animal hospital, where most people board their pets; a groomers apprentice, technician assistant, to Emergency technician in a 20+ doctor state of the art referral hospital. I have had interest in any and all animals since I was very young and have always had compassion for lost and sick animals, including the famous line constantly questioned to my mother, "May I keep it?"

 

I am a south Florida native so I know all of the local dog parks and dog get together activities in this general area. I am proficient in administering various oral, injectable, liquid, and ointment medications. I have the care and compassion for animals of all sizes and shapes, including reptiles. I have pet sat for various family members, friends, and high end employees of a large south Florida corporation whom wouldn’t mind giving a recommendation for my services. I am flexible in your time schedule as well as your pet(s) needs and can tend to them in any way as closely as to how you care for them yourself.
